Commercial Electrical
Installation, maintenance and fault finding for business premises across Leeds, by engineers whose background is fuel forecourt and hazardous-area infrastructure.
Commercial electrical work is judged on one thing that domestic work is not: what it costs you when it stops.
Our background is fuel refinery and petrol retail forecourt infrastructure, hazardous-area electrical systems and large-scale forecourt technology. Those are environments where a fault has immediate operational consequences, where diagnosis has to be structured rather than hopeful, and where the person fixing it is expected to understand the system rather than just the symptom.
That is the experience we bring to a commercial installation in Leeds.
What we do
Installation. New circuits, distribution, containment, lighting and power for offices, retail, hospitality and industrial premises.
Fault finding. Including the intermittent faults that have already defeated somebody else.
Periodic inspection and testing. Fixed installation condition reports, at intervals appropriate to your premises and use.
Maintenance. Planned, so problems are found before they stop you trading.
Emergency callout. Out of hours, for faults that cannot wait.
PAT testing. Proportionate to actual risk rather than as a reflex.
Lighting. Including LED replacement programmes, which usually pay for themselves faster than people expect, and car park and external lighting.
Working around your operation
Most commercial work is better done when the premises are quiet, and we plan around that rather than expecting you to work around us. Out-of-hours and weekend work is normal for us, not an exception we grudgingly accommodate.
Where work requires isolation, we agree it in advance and stage it so the disruption is contained.
Compliance
Under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 you have a duty to maintain electrical systems so they do not give rise to danger. Periodic inspection and a maintenance regime are how that duty is evidenced.
We provide the certification and reports your insurer, auditor or landlord needs. Tell us at survey exactly what they ask for, so you get it in the form required rather than something close.
Alongside security
We install security systems as well, which for commercial clients frequently matters: alarms, CCTV and access control need power, containment and often structured cabling, and having one company responsible for both removes the gap where things get missed.
